All our shops are a little expansion of Paul’s uniquely colourful, eclectic world. Located in the city's landmark Bund Finance Center, our customers are welcomed into an oasis of curiosity and intrigue, filled with one-of-a-kind art, vintage furniture, and – of course – lots of nice clothes. Recognised as a significant architectural achievement in its own right, the BFC is home to some of the most respected names in luxury retail, names we’re proud to call neighbours.
The centrepiece of the shop’s interior is a three-by-three metre space, which is significant as it was the size of Sir Paul’s very first shop, opened in his hometown of Nottingham in 1970– a neat visual representation of how far the company has come in its five decades.
A particularly whimsical touch can be found in the fitting room lobby, the walls of which are covered in vintage British bus tickets. A total of 6,385 tickets have been used, which were collected in the UK before being shipped to Shanghai and painstakingly applied on-site. It echoes the famous ‘domino room’ of our Albemarle Street shop in Mayfair, London, which is tiled with 26,000 dominoes.
