Welcome To Ginza

Located in one of Paul’s favourite parts of Tokyo (and one of the most prestigious shopping districts in the city), our Ginza shop is arranged over three floors with our exclusive Made To Measure service housed downstairs with a VIP dressing area.

Paul Smith's Foundation International Art Prize

In collaboration with world-renowned art materials company Winsor & Newton, Paul Smith's Foundation presents a global art prize. Six winning artists were selected from a free-to-enter open call, given a monetary donation from PSF, and up to £1,000 worth of materials of their choosing from Winsor & Newton to make a new piece of work to be hung for sale in their local Paul Smith shop. The winning entries are on display now.

Title : To Add Another
Store: Ginza

The definition of modern luxury.

Arranged over three floors, the new shop is fronted by a distinctive blue and green façade that qualifies as a work of art in and of itself. Specially constructed using 3D zigzagging folded aluminium, the effect is lenticular ensuring the bold colour scheme appears different depending on where you’re standing.

Inspired by renowned architect Pierre Chareau’s Maison de Verre and designed by our in-house team, the space inside intentionally juxtaposes industrial elements and materials – think concrete, glass panes, mirrors and exposed steel work and beams – with more modernist furniture.

As you move through the shop, you’ll spot design icons, such as a round table by Vico Magistretti for Rosenthal and a James Mont armchair, while bright reliefs by Nigel O’Neill greet you on the staircases and walls.
