Introducing Sunseeker: A New Candle & Diffuser Scent

When our home fragrance collection of candles and diffusers made its debut last year, we wanted to ensure that they did something more than simply smelled nice.

Like the other scents in our collection, Sunseeker is formulated to recall some of Paul’s fondest memories. In this case, it is inspired by the designer’s summer trips to Italy – and his home in the Tuscan countryside.

Smells like: warm summer air, dining alfresco at sunset and balmy citrus groves.

Memory: Paul’s laidback holidays and the Italian seaside.

Notes: Italian bergamot, mandarin, and basil.

Italy has long had a special place in Paul’s heart. “There’s nothing quite like summer in Tuscany. It’s a different pace of life there and the food is incredible,” he says. “When we first started visiting, our nearest neighbour lived entirely off his land. He brought us home-grown tomatoes, olive oil and wine he’d made. They were magnificent.”Formulated with natural bergamot, mandarin and basil to conjure the memory of evenings eating al fresco in the summer, Sunseeker, which is available as a small and large candle as well as a diffuser, encapsulates those trips perfectly.

Like the previous releases, each one comes in a glass vessel with a contrasting lid, and it is designed to be reused again and again once you’ve burned the full candle. This time, the colours – a sunshine yellow and an azure blue ­– were chosen to recall the seaside on a sunny day.

To coincide with this new release, we are also pleased to announce that refills are now available for all Paul Smith diffusers, including Sunseeker, Botanist, Bookworm, Early Bird and Daydreamer.
