To celebrate the launch of our new collaboration, Niwaki’s Jake Hobson shares his gardening philosophy while putting the collection through its paces.
‘I think of gardening, for me in particular, as… a collaboration between man and nature.’ So says Jake Hobson, founder of Niwaki, whose precision tools and gardening accessories have acquired a sizeable and dedicated following over the course of two decades in business. And on this occasion, it’s not just man and nature in collaboration, but Paul Smith and Niwaki, too. We’re excited to present a collection of Niwaki’s indispensable and exceptionally crafted wares, featuring an all-important Paul Smith twist.
To celebrate the launch, we worked with Niwaki on a short film, in which we find Jake using the Paul Smith + Niwaki collaboration tools in his own garden in Dorset, while sharing his personal gardening philosophy.
