Long Term Targets

• Increase our RWS Wool to account for at least 80% by 2030

• All wool to be non-mulesed by 2030 *excluding recycled

• Sourced at least 85% of our leather from LWG-rated tanneries

Targets To Achieve This Year

To be on track to achieve our long-term material targets, we are working towards increasing and decreasing the material usages below:

• Increase the Sun Logo offering in our PS collection by 6%

• Increase GOTS / Organically grown or recycled cotton by 5%

• Reduce virgin synthetics by 10%

• Increase verified recycled synthetic fibres by 10% 

• Increase non-mulesed wool by 3%

• Increase the leather from LWG-rated tanneries by 6%

Achievements

• 71.1% of all cotton used in AW24 was either GOTS certified organic or organically grown

• 43.3% of the leather used in our products in AW24 was supplied by LWG rated suppliers

• 24.2% of all knitwear made, where wool is the main fibre was RWS certified in AW24

• 100% of our down is sourced from certified suppliers to ensure it has not come from live plucked or force-fed birds

• Redeveloped our packaging to use alternatives to plastic or recycled materials where possible for retail and wholesale globally.

• First assessed collection we worked on with Fairly Made was AW24. The data collection results gave us an overview of 100% Tier 1, 72% Tier 2, 51% Tier 3 and 4% Tier 4 suppliers

• Developed a Digital Supplier Risk Assessment

• Supplier Code of Conduct updated to include migrant worker and environmental policies

• Established a company Sustainability Ambassador Group

• Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training is being rolled out to UK employees
