Stripe, Collected

Previous instalments in this series have seen the Signature Stripe writ large. Reimagined as a soaring hot air balloon, or blown up onto the side of a building – that sort of thing. Nothing wrong with a bit of spectacle, of course, but this time round we’re zooming in rather than standing back. After all, most people’s experience with the Paul Smith Stripe will have been on a decidedly smaller scale. And that’s what this instalment – entitled Stripe, Collected – is all about. Over the years, the Signature Stripe has appeared not only throughout our range of clothing and accessories, but also in a diverse and sometimes unexpected array of objects, from cameras and footballs to cigarette cases and toy cars.
